BelGAS Releases New White Paper on Hydrogen Energy
Newell, W.Va.—November 10, 2022—As the world moves away from fossil fuels to fulfill its energy needs, leaders in the global energy sector have been on the hunt for the next great energy source, one that will hopefully be greener and more efficient than fossil fuels. Hydrogen, earth’s most commonly occurring substance, has emerged as a favorite.
But the path to hydrogen energy independence will not be an easy one. BelGAS, a global leader in the design and manufacture of pressure control products, has developed a special white paper on the future of hydrogen energy. The paper is titled “Hydrogen: Earth’s Next Great Energy Source?” and is available for download now.
Written by BelGAS business unit manager Jon Kaufman, the paper provides critical insights to the hoped-for hydrogen revolution, including early successes, obstacles to overcome, and the incredible potential of the resource.
There has been unparalleled worldwide investment its hydrogen energy, rapidly approaching a total of $500 billion. Its potential for emissions reductions is undisputed, while the cost of harvesting and separating raw materials, as well as hydrogen’s impact on existing energy infrastructure, remains an open question. It is all of these factors – potential benefits, excitement about the future, and the lingering need to solve additional challenges – that has driven BelGAS to aggressively explore hydrogen.
BelGAS is heavily invested in energy’s future. Its engineering and R&D teams are working on the solutions of tomorrow, backed by a company that stands ready to provide guidance to customers as the world navigates these changes.
