Inside Sales Representative
Plan and prioritize personal development activities and customer/prospect contact toward achieving agreed business aims including costs and sales – especially managing personal time and productivity. Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database.
Plan and carry out direct marketing efforts to agreed budgets and product mix with progress reports to the VP Sales & Marketing. These reports will also be shared with the Distributor channels for follow-up.
Develop ideas and create offers for direct mail and marketing to major accounts.
Maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships through planned individual account support, liaison with appropriate Distributors and National Sales members and with individual account support.
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
Provide support, research and backup information for Distribution and National Sales members to follow-up on new opportunities, open doors and new, relevant information to obtain sales goals.
Ability to get along with others and be a team-player.
Knowledge and experience in sales and account management.
Knowledge of computer database construction and development, MS Office Excel and Word.
Ability to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance.
Must be very competent writer of business letters and proposals.
Abilities required This position requires a self-driven individual, results oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on the task at hand. Reliable, tolerant and determined, empathic communicator, well presented and business like, sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel the US. Excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator with the ability to demonstrate success in managing major accounts and large, high level contacts.
